Amphitheater of Jem
When traveling to Tunisia with my family, one of the first destinations we went to was the "Amphitheater of Jem."
Its structure was impressive. It was certainly among the best-preserved ruins I have ever visited. Historically it is said to have held up to 30,000 spectators, which is true and lives up to its immense size. In addition, it was exciting to see the cells that contained the beasts🐯 of the past, as well as the prisons for the people who were condemned to death, who had the opportunity to save themselves if they fought (hence the bloody spectacle). It also had beautiful views, if you climbed to the top you could see the whole town (Jem), and if you stayed to see the bet🌅 alone, I guarantee it had its own charm. My family and I had a great time discovering every nook and cranny of this ancient ruin, taking pictures, reliving the moment of that time and listening to the guide explain all the history behind this immense construction. In conclusion, it was so much fun and beautiful the visit to the Jem, that I would like to repeat. 💕
