Oung el Jmel

The next day we were taken to "Oung El Jmel".

The name it has is quite unique, as it comes from the fine sand, a pile of stones reminiscent of a camel's head. And, along with the dryness, the miracle of Lake Chott el Gharsa.

Honestly, the visit with the 4X4 has been a real surprise, as it is an excursion through the dunes as if you were skating on the desert sand.

And without hesitation, the best thing was the surprise of seeing that in the middle of nowhere, stands the city of Mos Espa sand with several houses built for the filming of The Phantom Menace. It is also famous for being the setting for the movie The English Patient (the actors' camp was here). In addition, to see the set of the movie Star Wars.

We bought lots of souvenirs and my mom and I were petting a Phenec, they are small and adorable.

In conclusion, I enjoyed today too much, hopefully I can repeat the experience with the 4X4!
